The Danes know a thing or two about living, don’t they? Famed for hygge, interior design and shorter working days, they’re regularly voted one of the happiest countries on Earth (even with their looooong, cold winters). So, it stands to reason, that when a Danish brand has things to say about lifestyle, we should listen right?
The birth of Kreafunk
Kreafunk was started back in 2011, by two excellent gents called Kenneth and Ruben. They feel that “life without music is a silent story” and were frustrated by the lack of high quality, design-led products on the market, for listening to music on the go. Luckily for us, they decided to do something about that and Kreafunk was born – yay!
Make the ordinary, extraordinary
Kreafunk believe that life shouldn’t be an eternal strive for perfection. They “celebrate and embrace the diversity of an ordinary, everyday life, where it’s the small things that make it extraordinary”. And that’s kind of the whole thang in Denmark – it’s what hygge is all about too – finding beauty in the ordinary everyday.
Kreafunk products however, are anything but ordinary. Their gorgeous speakers, in a distinctive minimal style, are more like chic handbags/manbags than audio equipment. And their wireless headphones in a muted palette of colours are like the best accessory we’ve ever had!
Get the best out of life, anytime, anywhere
As well as a focus on design, Kreafunk feel that we urban nomads and global explorers should have access to music wherever we go - from up-tempo pop when we’re running on the beach, to smooth grooves when we’re getting ready for bae. This means that portability is built into the DNA of their brand. They look at their products as accessories when you’re on the go and interiors when you’re at home – either way, we love it!
Kreafunk is for people who know how to tune into the good life. People who are all about the good vibes. People who make time for each other and for themselves. People who live each day like it’s their last. Remember, “don’t live to retire, dance while the music is playing” – we couldn’t put it better ourselves.
