Holidays are the best

We’re big on appreciating the small things and practicing gratitude for everything we have in our daily lives, but sometimes you just can’t beat a holiday. Whether it’s a UK staycation, a visit to far-flung shores, an action-packed adventure, or a lazy break, we just love exploring new places and taking a break from the norm. But making sure you have the right travel gadgets and essentials can make the all the difference. Whether you're wondering what to buy someone who is going travelling or looking for some wanderlust gifts for yourself we have some amaze ideas for you.

Holiday, travelling and backpacking gifts

Are your friends and fam vacay and travel obsessed (who isn’t?)

Check out our brilliant selection of gifts for travel-lovers. Their next holiday will be their best ever (thanks to you). This How to Travel Notebook from the School of Life, combines three of our favourite things (books, travel and stationery). With essays on subjects like choosing destinations, the pleasure of the airport and the importance of sun, plus practical exercises, quizzes and pages for your own notes, it’s the perfect accessory for thoughtful jetsetters. Even the most well-travelled types sometimes need a little inspiration for their next trip. This 100 Places you Must Visit Poster is  a piece of art and a bucket-list in one – win! Data roaming when travelling will give you crazy battery drain, meaning your phone gives up just when you need it most (#holidayselfie). This awesome Jammy Dodger Power Bank, shaped like our fave biccie, can charge your device on the go, making dead holiday phone a thing of the past. And this Rose Gold Scratch Map is a gorgeous gift for any keen globetrotter with a killer wanderlust, allowing them to record and relive their amazing adventures once they’re home.

Gifts for Business Travel

So not all trips are holidays...well thats what people who travel with work tell us! If you know someone who goes away on business a lot a gift can mean the world to them. Not only does it remind them of home but it might make business travel a bit less boring if they are going somewhere that's not exactly instaworthy. We have lots gifts for business travel whether its some cool travel games to pass the time with work mates or maybe a scratch map for the office; getting them something nice can only be a good thing!

Holiday bragging pics are officially a thing…And we love them really

If it’s not travel bloggers with their endless shots of white sand beaches and sea-salt tousled hair, it’s our mates. When we’re in the office on a drizzly Monday in January and our bestie is filling our feed with sun lounger selfies, it’s officially FOMO o’clock. From views through plane windows, to feet in the sand, pina colada pics, reflections in sunglasses and #hotdoglegs (almost 50k posts), bragging on social sometimes seems more important than the holiday itself. We might grumble about it when we’re not on vacay ourselves, but once we are, we’re all about that beach pic with accompanying ironic post (not a bad view from the office /hate Mondays etc), posted at the optimum time to induce envy in our friends back home in grey old England, natch. The thing is, while holiday snaps can bring the green-eyed monster out in us, they also inspire us. In fact, 34% of millennials have booked a holiday because of something they’ve seen on social media. So use those social feeds and travel inspo and get booking your next trip...and dont forget your travel gadgets and gifts.
