What is Galentine’s Day?

In case you didn’t know already, Galentine’s Day is celebrated the day before Valentine’s (February 13^th) and it’s our fave ‘fake’ holiday in the calendar. Galentine’s began on a 2010 episode of mockumentary sitcom, Parks and Recreation. One of the characters gathers her girl gang for a brunch. “Every February 13, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast style,” Leslie says. Basically, it’s all about ladies celebrating ladies.
